Introduction
Khalid Nadeem Din Muhammad Qawwal
basically belongs to original Qawwal family. This
family is performing Qawwali from last hundred
years. They have performed in thousands of parties
in many places in Pakistan i.e. (PTV, ARY Digital,
DM Digital, DM World) and many more local cable
networks. Their cassettes volume as well and a video
album is ready to release.
They strongly believe in sophism.
They have performed in many darbaars (holy places of
saints) and present them lots buckets of their love
and passion. That is why many saints` lovers also
lone them and their Qawwali.
History of their family
Before partition of Pakistan and India, their
Family lives in jalendhar (India)
city. Their grandfather’s fathers and grandfather’s
uncle were also in same profession. Khair Din and
Meher Din Qawwali were very famous Qawwal in their
age. After partition migrated to Pakistan city of
Lyallpur (Faisalabad) and started their profession
again. Meher din’s son Karam din tota Qawwal started
Qawwali and got countrywide appreciation. He was
also a pupil of ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s
father.
Karam Din tota’s younger brothers
Din Muhammad and Shoukat Ali started Qawwali and
made their separate group. They were students of
ustad Meher Ali Khan, who belongs to the famous
talvandi family. Din Muhammad & Shoukat Ali also
performed with their grandfather (maternal) Hadayyet
Ali Khan and got great appreciation from their fans.
Now day Din Muhammad’s sons Khalid and Nadeem are
running their traditional profession and getting a
lot of appreciations from their lovers. They are
stunning, energetic & have command of their quality
of their voice. |
